What is a Really Really Free Market?
It's a bit like a cross between a garage sale and a farmers' market, except that everything is free. Really really free. No trade, no barter, no advertising or business cards - just the giving and recieving of a sharing community.
Here's how it works:
You show up, with usable stuff that you don't want anymore. Other people will take what they need. For free. You get to look around at all the other stuff, and take what you need. For free.
At the end, you take home again everything you brought that didn't get claimed by other people. We want to leave the park tidier than we found it.
Good things about RRFMs:
You get rid of stuff you don't want anymore.
That stuff finds a home, instead of being landfill.
You find cool stuff for free.
It's a nice afternoon out in a lovely atmosphere.
We gradually build a community built on the basis of sharing and taking care of ecah other, to improve the lives of everyone.
